Our company & Product Medendo is tight-knit team on a mission with a relentless focus on providing value for healthcare professionals. In 2025, we became the market leader in the Dutch Mental Healthcare. Our app is an AI Workspace that provides a speech-to-text reporting service, coupled with an AI assistant.

Our plans In the coming period, we need to support and extend our exponential growth trajectory. This means that we need to automate internal and external processes, build integrations with EHR providers and other third party applications, develop our AI assistant and workspace further, obtain MDR certification and gain a foothold in multiple European countries. As a Sr. Developer you will build solutions for both colleagues and end-users that support these plans.

The advent of genAI has put a lot of conventional wisdom on its head, even when it comes to building an application. Where the previous generation of AI models could where specialised for a single task, LLM’s can build apps, diagnose diseases, write reports and give gardening advice. Since the advent of LLM’s we live in a new reality, so we approach problems with a fresh, creative mindset.

• We build applications not only for humans, but also for AI agents.
• We minimize our code complexity by replacing complex code by agentic tasks, using new technologies such as MCP.
• AI is the new UI. We explore new AI-paradigms for user interaction, making our workspace more powerful & scaleable in terms of features.

That being said, we understand AI is no magic solution to everything. Not yet, at least. We view effective AI-use as a new skill that needs to be developed, maintained and refined.
